The holiday season will soon be upon us, which is a challenging time for many families.  With that in mind, we have decided to once again run our "A Whale of a Fundraiser" for the 2024 holiday season.  The fundraising efforts will be divided as follows:

Our first recipient has had a lengthy absence from work because of treatment and recovery associated with life-threatening illness and is also dealing with the added stress that comes from being the family's primary income provider.  This person's career has centred around helping others and our hope is to be able to help this person and family this holiday season.

The secondary recipient will be the Ronald McDonald House, St. John's.  This donation is being made at the request of a family who currently uses their services, which is a request we are happy to honour.  The following is taken from the Ronald McDonald House website:

"Not all families live in a location with a children’s hospital. For parents of children who are sick or injured, Ronald McDonald House helps to alleviate significant financial burden and provides a crucial community of support while they’re away from home."

This year we have over $1200 in prizes and 100% of the proceeds will go to the recipients indicated above.  The prizes are:

1st draw - 24x48 "The Mother" - $800 dollar value 

2nd Draw - Medium Sized Canvas of your choosing - $250 value

3rd Draw - 11x14 print pack - Approximately $140 Dollar Value

Every $5 Donated is 1 entry into the draw.  This Fundraiser is open to people all over North America.
